Me and My Music!

Music has always been my first love. From singing as a wee girl, I developed to school choirs and then to singing in school concert etc.,
Luckily for me I resembled Emma Bunton and so I was always asked to join Spice Girls tribute bands in such concerts.
I always spent spare time writing lyrics, based on my life experiences.
During school and university I was always jotting down things. It wasn’t until I left Uni that I started to do something with my lyrics, as well as with my singing.
I decided to enter The Variety Club’s Festival4Stars, one of the largest talent competitions in the country. I was up against hundreds of entries from young to old in the Aberdeen heats, and was totally blown away when I won not one but TWO singing categories.
I went on to success in the finals too and from that have continued with my support for Festival4stars by taking part as Miss Commonwealth Scotland in their Night of the Stars, a charitable event, which this year raised money fro Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital. I hope to continue with my support when they come to Aberdeen again in April. www.festival4stars.co.uk

Unbeknown to me an entertainment agency from Glasgow had been asked along to see me at Night of the Stars in Bathgate and shortly after I was duly signed. During the singing contests and my successes in major beauty pageants, I also joined two local producers and musicians Compuphonic. Working with Stuart and Nicky allowed me to diversify using my own music and lyrics to dance music, as well as sing the usual ballads people know me for.

Everyone I have spoken to has been overwhelmed at the power of my singing voice which is totally different to my talking voice.
I am becoming quite successful with my singing and have been asked to sing at The Anthony Nolan Emmerdale Extravaganza {live and to a crowd of thousands}, the BIG Fashion Show, Festival4Stars Night of the Stars and I have recently had some wonderful news.
In July I have been asked to sing at The London Palladium at the Miss Commonwealth International Triple Crown. Not only will I be crowned Miss Commonwealth Scotland for the 2nd time but sing in front of the many celebrities attending.

Compuphonic
Although very nervous, there are not many can say they have sung at the London Palladium and I am absolutely thrilled to be asked. I have more news to follow about my singing so as always
