Television Ad

The TV Advertisement for furniture company James Barclays of Perth has been shown all over Scotland, and finally reached the Grampian area in March. Usually shown in prime time I am receiving calls and texts saying ‘hey I’ve just seen you on the telly’. I must admit it is quite surreal. This has been a great success for me as now the company have asked if I will do press adverts and brochures. Towards the latter part of this year I will be doing a photo shoot for Billboard posters. I am very excited about that.

The Cyrenians Sleepout

The Sleepout for the homeless was a huge success at the end of January and attracted around 7000 volunteers. I braved the cold, and did actually sleep outside. When doing these things I feel you should do them properly. I wouldn’t like to do it again in a hurry, and I really appreciated returning to my nice warm bed. The event is expected to have raised around £25,000 which is amazing, and I will be presenting awards of achievement to all who took part, in April.

ChildLine Evening of Romance Charity Ball

Much more glamorous work has been offered since then, and I attended the as Miss Commonwealth Scotland on Valentines Weekend. It raised around £12,500.
This was the first of many promised events I hoped to be part of helping raise money for ChildLine, a charity dear to my heart.

Love at the Mall

The same weekend I modelled for Debenhams, for their Love at The Mall event, modelling romantic lingerie, evening gowns etc, it was strange being the only model. It went well with not too many cheeky comments from the lads passing by.

Models Ltd, Edinburgh

Signed to this Edinburgh Model Agency I was then asked me to come down for a day’s catwalk class and I had a wonderful day and was made to feel very special. It is amazing the things you learn, in particular detail to removing jackets etc., There is a certain knack and timing has to be perfect. Such things you can only learned from proper model classes.
There are whispers of quite a bit of work so fingers crossed.
